Our VCR metal gasket face seal fittings feature an advanced metal-to-metal sealing technology that ensures perfect leak-tight performance across a wide range of applications, from critical vacuum systems to high pressure environments. These precision-engineered fittings are designed for reliability in demanding industrial conditions.
The female threads are silver plated to prevent galling during installation and maintenance, while the smooth internal diameter transition minimizes potential entrapment areas that could compromise system integrity. Each fitting comes with two test ports for convenient leak testing procedures.
Manufactured with exacting standards, these fittings feature a surface finish with a roughness average of 10μin. (0.25μm) Ra on both glands and bodies. Available in three premium stainless steel material options: 316, 316L, and 316L VAR (Vacuum Arc Remelt) to meet various application requirements.
The pressure ratings are calculated in strict accordance with ANSI/ASME B31.3 standards, with working pressure for ANSI/ASME B31.1 applications determined by multiplying the base rating by 0.94. This ensures compliance with industry safety standards across different operating conditions.
Temperature performance varies by component material, with 316 stainless steel fittings rated for operation from -425°F to 1000°F (-254°C to 538°C). Gasket materials include 316L stainless steel, copper (rated to 400°F/204°C), and nickel (rated to 600°F/316°C) to accommodate different thermal requirements.
