Basically, teh dual ferrule design gives you a leak-proof grip even under vibration or thermal cycling, and the temperature range runs from -54°C up to 649°C, so steam service is no issue.
Most buyers go with NPT threads for ease, but we can do BSPP or BSPT as well—just confirm your spec when you place the order (lead time is usually 2-4 weeks for threaded elbows).
The surfce is natural, untreated, which means no coating to flake off in high-temp appliction, though it’s not ideal for salt spray environments without additional passivation.
