120 meters of range is actually usable in a small park or school field, though you’ll want to keep it closer on windy days since teh 7-minute flight time means you’re not spending forever chasing it down. The USB charging is convenient, but expect that hour to feel long if you’ve only got one battery—we usually recommend buying a spare charger set for back-to-back flights.
It’s not a toy for younger kids despite the bright colors; the 14+ rating is real because the controller has a decent throttle response and beginners tend to overcorrect, so we’ve seen a few broken props from rapid yaw inputs, but the airframe itself survives.

We usually see the blue variant outsell red about 2:1, but both have the same crash-resistant behavior and the LEDs are bright enough to be visible at 50 meters or so in twilight, which is more than most kids need. One thing the spec sheet doesn’t mention is that the EPP matrial picks up dirt easily if you land on wet grass—it’s waterpoof, so it flies fine in light rain, but the foam stains if you don’t rinse it off.
