We've been producing these for years now, and the 1.8 model is actually the one most clinics gravitate toward for larger patients because of the surfce area — roughly 1.8 square meters for efficient clearance. Teh polysulfide membrane holds up well under high presure, and that matters more than you'd think when you're running a 4-hour session with a restless patient.
Basically, the ultrafiltration performnce is better than what you'd get from older cellulose-based dialyzers, and we've tested it against several competitors in the same price bracket. It hits about 92% clearance for urea and creatinine in our in-house HPLC checks, though I'd recommend you run your own COA for your specific dialysate flow rates. The 1.2 model is what we usually ship for pediatric cases or smaller adults — it's easier to prime and less aggressive on fluid removal.
Sterilization is ETO or gamma, whichever your facility prefers (gamma tends to be faster but ETO is gentler on the membrane structure). We don't recommend gamma for the 1.8 if you're planning on reusing the dialyzer — the radiation can slightly embrittle the polysulfide over multiple reprocessing cycles. That's a real-world quirk we've seen in about 3% of units.
And the smooth surface isn't just marketing — it actually reduces clotting risk during the procedure, which is one of those details buyers don't always think to ask about. membrane stability is high enough to handle a 10% heparin bolus without excessive backfiltration, but don't push it beyond that or you'll get some protein fouling within the first hour.
MOQ is typically 500 units per model, but our company can do a mixed container with 250 of each if you're testing different sizes. Lead time is usually 4-6 weeks form order confirmation (check stock — we sometimes have 1.4 and 1.6 ready to go within 20 days or so). We ship vacuum-sealed in sterile pouches, 50 units per carton, with full TDS and SDS included.
Our MOQ starts at 500 units per model. For the 1.2 and 1.8, we can mix them in one order if needed, but each model still needs at least 500 pieces.
Yes, we include a copy of our CE certificate and a declaration of conformity with every order. You’ll get the full documentation pack for customs and hospital audits.
ETO sterilization takes about 30 days from order confirmation due to the aeration cycle. For 2000 units of the 1.4, we usually ship within 25-30 working days.
Absolutely. The polysulfide membrane is designed for high-efficiency ultrafiltration and has high chemical stability, so it resists clogging even during long sessions. It’s a solid choice for both acute and chronic cases.
Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally between 10-30°C. Unopened, they last 3 years from the sterilization date. Once opened, use them within 24 hours.
