The MSB series brake motors are engineered by integrating an asynchronous three-phase motor with an electromagnetic DC brake unit. These motors are designed for industrial applications where reliable braking performance and operational safety are critical.
With an exceptionally fast braking response time of 5-80 milliseconds, these motors are ideal for various industrial applications including load braking on driving shafts, reducing rotational mass downtime, improving setup precision, and ensuring machine safety compliance.
The motors feature robust aluminum housing with multiple protection degrees (IP55/56/65) and are available in different mounting configurations including foot, flange, and double shaft end options. The efficient design offers output ranging from 0.09kW to 15kW to suit various industrial requirements.
These brake motors support multiple efficiency classes (IE1 to IE4) and insulation classes (F, H), making them suitable for diverse operating conditions. The direct on-line starting system ensures smooth operation while the variable speed capability provides operational flexibility.
