1, we use 316L medical-grade stainlss steel for this — it's an ISO 13485 certified line, so the traceability is solid, and the polished surface makes cleaning a lot easier in the autoclave.
If you're working on small animals like cats or toy breeds, the 1.6mm screws are what you'll reach for most, and the 2.4mm kit covers the bulk of routine tibias and femurs in medium dogs — but teh system tops out at 4.0mm, so it's not suited for large breed hip reconstructions or anything requiring a 5.5mm screw, just so you know.

The cortical screws are self-tapping and the locking screws require a separate driver head, though both go through the same plate holes — pretty much anyone comfortable with basic fracture fixation will pick it up in a case or two.

MOQ is 5 instrument kits per size, and we usually have 3.2mm and 4.0mm in stock, but the 2.4mm kit lead time runs about 20 days or so — we'll confirm before invoicing.

What it does is give you a consistent thread profile form batch to batch because of CNC machining; the tolerance on the screw head hex is tighter than what some generic imports hold, and that actually shows up when you feel the driver engagement during surgery.
Each kit comes PE film wrapped, and we drop ship direct from the factory in Shenzhen — roughly 1-year warranty, though the drill bits and tap handles are considered wear parts so those aren't covered.
Our standard MOQ is 1 set, but for custom orders or specific screw sizes we may require a minimum of 10 pieces. Just let us know what you need.
Yes, we include both CE and ISO 13485 certificates with every order. You'll get a copy in the package or as a digital file upon request.
The instrument kits are available separately, not included by default. You can order any one kit or all three depending on your surgery needs.
We can customize screw lengths within the existing diameters, but we don't offer diameters outside 1.6mm to 4.0mm for this system. Contact us with your specs for a quote.
The implants are autoclavable and shipped in PE film protection. You'll need to sterilize them before use, as we don't pre-sterilize the packaging.
