You’re looking at a 9-inch TFT touch screen that controls whole ventilation cycle—tidal volume from 20 to 1500ml, respiratory rate from 1 to 150 bpm. It runs on O2 or air, inlet pressure sits between 280 and 600 kPa, and the max flow rate is 120 L/min or less. We usually have stock, but confirm lead time.
So for a cat spay or a large dog orthopedic repair, it handles VCV, PCV, SPONT, and Manual modes—plus a Demo mode for training. The PEEP range goes from OFF up to 20 cmH2O, and inspiratory presure can be set from 2 to 60 cmH2O. Most buyers go with the Li-ion battery for the 2+ hours of runtime, which is basically enough for a full day of surgeries if the power flickers.
Waveform display shows pressure, flow-rate, and volume curves—also PV, PF, and FV loops if you want to dig into lung mechanics. FiO2 monitoring is optional (15-100%), but we don’t include it as standerd. One thing a buyer might not think to ask: the pressure safety limit is set at ≤6 kPa, so it won’t overinflate even if you fat-finger a setting.
It’s not suited for human use—the tidal volume range and alarm thresholds are tuned for animal physiology. The inspiratory time range of 0.1-12 seconds gives you fine control for tiny patients or slow breathers. We’ve seen these units work well with existing anesthesia machines form most brands, but the gas inlet fitting might need an adapter (usually 2-4 weeks lead time for custom ones).
Anyway, teh touch screen is responsive, and the interface is pretty straightforward—no buried menus for the main controls. It ships with a power cord, the Li-ion battery installed, and a basic user manual. COA is avaliable per batch, though we don’t typically include it unless requested.
We typically require a minimum order of 5 units for the LifeSaver-D, but we can discuss smaller quantities for first-time buyers or demo purposes.
The LifeSaver-D comes with CE and ISO 13485 certification documents, plus a factory test report. We can also provide a certificate of origin if needed.
Standard lead time is 15-20 working days after order confirmation and payment. For urgent orders, we can expedite to 10-12 days with a small rush fee.
The FiO2 monitoring is an optional add-on, and it's best to order it upfront since it requires a hardware module installation. Retrofitting later is possible but costs more due to labor.
Each unit is packed in a foam-lined carton with custom inserts to prevent damage during shipping. For long-term storage, keep it in a cool, dry place below 40°C and charge the Li-ion battery every 3 months to maintain its lifespan.
