We've been shiping these with the convex and linear probes as standerd for about two years now, and most buyers go with that combo unless they really need the intracavitary for prostate checks—that optional 6.5MHz probe adds maybe a 20-day lead time or so, but teh main unit weighs 5.6kg and runs for just over an hour on battery, which is pretty much enough for a morning out of the socket.
Imaging modes go beyond basic B and M—you get Color Doppler, PDI, and PW, though honestly for quick organ surveys most folks rely on B-mode and toggle color only when they suspect vascular involvement, and the platform runs on Linux with ARM and FPGA, which sounds geeky but means the fan rarely spins up and boot time is under 30 seconds.
It's not built for heavy OB or cardiac workups where you need that 2D strain mapping—the 15" screen is solid but the image depth tops out around 24cm on convex, so deeper abdomens can get dicey—but for superficial organs, thyroid checks, and basic abdominal screening it handles better than most units at this price point.
ISO 13485 certifcation covers the factory consistently—we usually have stock in about 50 units, but confirm lead time (4-6 weeks currently) because the intracavitary optional probe has tighter vendor limits.

Lead time is usually 25–30 working days after order confirmation and deposit. For larger quantities or custom packaging, it might stretch a bit longer.

The battery is built-in and not user-replaceable, but it’s designed for over an hour of continuous scanning. If you need longer, we can discuss a higher-capacity option for bulk orders.
The KU1 supports 7 languages: English, Chinese, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, and Russian. We can add more languages for custom orders if you have a specific request.
