We’ve been supplying these Mindray units for a few years now, and the DC-26 and DC28 are pretty much the same core platform with slight variations in probe compatiblity and software features — the 28 gets a bit more bandwidth on the imaging side, but both deliver that smooth, natural imaging mode that hospitals and clinics seem to prefer.
It runs on a 21.5-inch screen which is actually bigger than most in this class, and you’ve got convex, linear, and transvaginal probe options — the linear is better for superficial work like vascular access, not really for deep abdominal scanning where the convex shines. 48 channel processing or so, depending on the firmware version.
One thing buyers don’t always think about is the noise floor on the Doppler settings — it’s quieter than the older DC-8 series, which matters if you’re scanning in a busy ER bay. Most facilities we ship to are mid-size clinics or OB/GYN practices, but we’ve seen a few teaching hospitals pick them up for training rooms too.
CE and ISO certified, obviously, and we typically have stock on the standerd configurations — but if you want a custom probe set (say, three probes instead of two), lead time jumps to about 4 weeks. The warranty is one year, and online support is included, though we usually have stock to swap a unit if something goes wrong.
Anyway, the 1L lubricant gel they ship with isn’t great for transvaginal use — you’ll want to grab a dedicated sterile gel separately. Ordering is straightforward: just confirm probe bundle and we’ll get you a quote with shippng within 24 hours or so.

Keep it in a dry, temperature-controlled room between 10-40°C. Avoid direct sunlight and humidity above 80%. The system is pre-packed in shock-resistant foam, so leave it in the original packaging until unboxing.
