So they take the lyophilized powder and reconstitute it with bacteriostatic water — usually 1-2mL depending on how concentrated they want the final solution, then filter it through a 0.22 micron syringe filter before aliquoting into sterile vials for their cell-based assays or in vivo work.
It's basically a 39-amino acid peptide with two non-natural residues and a C20 fatty diacid side chain that extends its half-life, which is why teh molecular weight comes out to 4813 g/mol and why we usually have stock, but confirm lead time for orders over 50 vials or so.
