We've been dealing with teh visible haze and plume from cautery and laser procedures for too long, and the SY-I089 finally gives us a unit that handles it without being deafening or constantly needing adjustment on the fly.
The filtration at 99.999% for particles down to 0.1 to 0.2 microns is what makes this worth the order for us — OR just feels cleaner, and the <60dB noise level is actually noticeable compared to the older unit that used to hum and whine and was a constant low-level distraction.
Airflow is rated at 100 l/min through 6mm tubing which is pretty much the standdard for most electrosurgical pencils we use, and the suction adjustment goes form 10% all the way to 100% so you're not locked into one setting.
There's also a programmable stop delay from 0 to 60 seconds which is a detail most buyers don't think about but it stops that annoying post-procedure hum, and it runs on AC90 to 250V so it works anywhere we'd plug it in — including some older building circuits.
It takes manual control, foot pedal, or synchronous modes depending on the surgeon's preference, but don't plan on using this for laparoscopy fluid suction as the main purpose is really just the smoke evacuation.

The foot pedal is included as part of the standard package, so you don't need to order it separately. It works alongside the manual and synchronous control modes right out of the box.

Yes, that efficiency is specifically tested at 0.1-0.2 microns, which covers the most penetrating particle size for surgical smoke. We can provide the test report and CE certificate upon request.
The standard programmable stop delay is capped at 60 seconds, but we can adjust the controller firmware for longer delays if you need it. That would be a custom request with a small lead time adjustment.
We use double-walled cardboard boxes with foam inserts to protect the unit during transit. Each system is individually packed, and we can add custom labeling if you provide the artwork.
