We’re ordering the KT-002 directly because the steel tube thickness—50x100mm with a 3mm wall—is what our facility’s been missing; most residential-grade benches use 2mm or less, and that gap leads to wobble during heavy sets. The electrostatic powder coating isn't just for looks, it’s actually been tested for adhesion consistency across 5 different color batches we reviewed, and the hardness exceeds our own minimum by about 15%. We've run the CE and ISO9001 cert files through compliance already, and they’re clean—no gaps in the retest policy either, which is every 6 months for frame welds.

The max user weight of 150kg is a spec we actually had to verify for our insurance team, and it held during our internal load test with a static 200kg for 10 minutes without flexing the main rail. What that means in practice is you’ll see less than 2mm deflection at the seat pivot point—something the suppiler confirmed by sending us their own video of the test (usually 2-4 weeks for custom footage). Anyway, the PU leather padding is a better bet than standdard foam for this use case because of that it doesn’t absorb sweat and crack after 18 months of daily use like teh cheaper stuff does.

the supplier didn’t initially mention is the bench is not suited for heavy leg press attachments—the frame geometry doesn’t have the rear stabilizer tube spacing for that, so if you’re planning to bolt on leg curl/extension, you’ll need optional extension kit which is roughly $35 extra per unit. We usually have stock on the standard black color, but the custom logo option adds about 10 business days to lead time. The warranty is 10 years on the frame and 5 years on the coating, which is better than most importers offer for this price point, but confirm the coating chipping from bar contact—some batches have had adhesion issues on the front leg edge near the J-hooks.

We requested the QC spreadsheet from their last 3, and batch variability on the welding penetration depth was within 0.5mm—tight enough for commercial. The MOQ for custom color is 50 units, but for black our company can order 12 or so and get a mixed pallet with other bench models if needed. Pretty much every cert is pre-audited by a third-party lab we’ve worked with before, so the retest policy is just a formality now.
