The 99% purity is really what sets it apart, and once you've handled a few batches you can see the difference in how clean it runs on HPLC—most supliers don't maintain that tolerance consistently batch to batch.
We typically store it at -20°C in teh foil bag it ships in, and we've found it's stable for about 2 years or so if you don't freeze-thaw it repeatedly; basically, just pull out what you need and put it right back.
For ordering, MOQ is 1 gram or 1 box, which is pretty reasonable for a research setup, and we usually have stock but confirm lead time (2-4 weeks) since can vary.
Some labs try to use this in cell culture applicaion where it's not really intended. It's best kept to in vivo or ex vivo research protocols—I've seen it crystallize in some buffer systems, so watch your reconstitution method.
The molecular weight is about 2224 g/mol, so it travels nicely in solution but doesn't cross membranes well, which is a limitation you'll want to factor into your dosing strategy.
