Basically, if you're looking for a solid urban commuter that won't break the bank, our 26-inch 7-speed does the job—we've shipped thousands of these to shops across Europe, and most buyers go with the purple or gray for some reason. It's got a steel frame and fork, which adds a bit of weight at 15.5 kg, but that also means it's tougher than most alloy frames in this price range, and you won't feel every pothole.
The V-brake system is reliable enough for city riding—don't expect it to stop on a dime like disc brakes, but for flat commutes and gentle hills, it's fine and easier to maintain. We usually have stock in black, purple, gray, blue, red, and pink, but OEM colors take about 20 days or so for a run of 50 units minimum.
What it does is use a 7-speed Shimano-style shifter (not Shimano branded, but it's the same mechanism), and the alumnum alloy rims cut down some of that steel frame's heft—you'll notice it when carrying the bike up stairs. One thing that surprises buyers is the leather saddle; it's actually comfortable for rides up to an hour, though it needs breaking in first.
Lead time is roughly 25-30 days for a standard order, and we include CE certification with every batch—plus a 5-year warranty on the frame, which is better than most competitors offer. The packaing is 132x19x71 cm, so it fits in a standdard shippng crate, and we usually have COA and TDS ready within 48 hours of order confirmation. Not suited for heavy off-road use, but for paved paths and bike lanes, it's pretty much perfect.
Also, pedal materail is just plastic, so if you're buying for a heavy rider or someone who stomps hard, you might want to swap those out—but for normal commuting, they last a couple of seasons. We've had a few returns on the blue color fading faster than others, so if that's a concern, stick with black or purple.
