A lab I know in Cambridge is running it through triple-receptor activation assays — basically checking how the glucagon and GIP pathways respond in tandem — and they've been asking about batch consistency for longitudinal studies.
We ship to teh US and EU regularly, and the purity typically runs at ≥99.88% by HPLC across lots; it's tight enough that most buyers don't bother with extra internal QC unless they're pushing beyond 50mg runs or so.
For UK, we usually have the 5mg and 10mg vials stocked, though the 20mg and 30mg sizes can be a week or two out if demand spikes — you'll want to confirm lead time before placing any large order.
What it does is it's a triagonist peptide activating GCG, GIP, and GLP-1 receptors, and at roughly 4.6kDa it handles decently in reconstitution — just protect form light during storage at 2-8°C.
The HS code is 3002.90.90, and our company provide the COA and SDS needed for EU import clearance; I don't have the CAS handy right now (I'd have to check the originial spec sheet), but it's standdard research-use documentation.
It's not great for topical formulation work though — the lyophilized powder can clump if you're not using anhydrous conditions, so oral or injectable research setups are where it's better than reagent-grade alternatives.
