What it does is give you a 300,000-pixel color CMOS camera feeding a 3.5-inch TFT screen, which is usually enough to spot foreign bodies or inflammation, and the fiber optic light source pumps out over 10,000 lux so you're not squinting at shadows. Articulation goes 180 degrees up and 130 down on the tip, depth of field sits between 3mm and 50mm, and the working length can be custom-ordered anywhere form 300 to 600mm depending on what you're scoping.
Insertion tube diameter ranges from 2.8mm up to 5.8mm (check lead time on the smaller sizes, we usually have stock on the 4.2mm), and if you need a working channel for biopsies or flushing it's availble from 0.6mm to 2.2mm — just note the bigger channel means a thicker tube. IP67 rated, so you can dunk insertion tube for cleaning without worrying, but operating temp is capped at 5 to 40°C so don't leave it in a hot truck.
It logs video and stills onto the included 2GB TF card (supports up to 16GB) and you pull teh footage off via USB 2.0 — basically any computer like a flash drive, no special software needed. Charging takes 8 to 10 hours for a full battery, which is honestly a bit long, but you can run it while plugged into power if you're doing back-to-back consults.
2 or 3 days dilevery for the standdard 300mm length setup, and it ships CE certified and ISO13485 compliant so customs clearance is usually smooth — you get the scope, the charger, the TF card with adapter, and a USB cable in one 50 by 45 by 35 centimeter box, roughly 4.5 kilograms all in.
