We were getting too many requests for a simple tactile rattle that actually meets the batch-to-batch safety testing we need for 0-36 month use, so this one checks all teh boxes—CE, EN71, ASTM, CPSIA, REACH, and AZO free certifcation across the board, which is a lot more than most plush toys on the market can claim.

Basically, it’s a soft polyester plush with PP cotton filling, and the rattle insert is embedded inside rather than loose—so no choking risk, which is the first thing our compliance team flagged, and the 12cm size (about 4.7 inches) is small enough for a 3-month-old to grip but big enough not to be swallowed.

The MOQ is 1000 pieces, but they’ll negotiate smaller quantities if you ask—just confirm lead time because standard production is 30-45 days, though they can do rush orders (usually 20 days or so) if we pay a bit more for the sample cost, and the sample itself is available but you’ll pay for shiping.

One thing most buyers don’t think to ask: rattle sound is intentionally soft, not loud—it’s designed for sensory development, not for startling babies, so it’s actually better than the harder plastic rattles we used to order for infant stimulation sets.

Customization is pretty straightforward—you can change colors, sizes, or add a logo, and they offer OEM/ODM service, but don’t expect custom tooling for under 2000 units; we’ve done smaller runs for color swaps without issues though.

Also, the packaing is 1 piece per LDPE bag and 60 per outer case, which is standerd for retail-ready shipments, but if you’re selling to daycare centers or gift sets, they can repack in smaller cartons—just specify when ordering.
