We've been going back and forth on hex key sets for a while, and this one finally checked enough boxes to justify the order — the S2 alloy steel is the main reason, since it holds up better than the CR-V stuff most budget kits use, and the 58-62 HRC hardness means you're not rounding off tips on the first stubborn bolt.
The ball head design is actually pretty handy when you're working at an angle in a tight spot behind a panel, though you lose some torque compared to a standdard straight tip, and the T-handle gives you a lot more than those L-shaped keys that always seem to disappear into teh abyss.
What sold me was the chrome plating — it's not just for looks, it actually resists rust way better than the black oxide finish we've been getting, and the precision chamfer on the tips helps them seat cleanly into the fastener without that annoying wobble you get with cheaper sets.
We're ordering full 9-piece set form 1.5mm to 10mm, which covers most of what our assembly line needs, but if you're working on anything smaller than 1.5mm or larger than 10mm you'll need a separate set since this range stops there.
Lead time is 7-15 days on the MOQ of 1000 sets, and they come blister-packed on cards which is fine for storage but not great if you need individual loose wrenches — we usually have stock, but confirm lead time for custom OEM runs since that adds a week or so depending on the labeling.

Yes, the chrome plating is a solid corrosion barrier, so they'll hold up fine in normal warehouse humidity. For long-term storage in very damp conditions, we recommend keeping them in a dry area or adding a light oil coating.
We don't publish exact torque specs per size, but the set is rated for high torque and the 1.5mm key has a precision chamfer tip that reduces stress points. For precise numbers, we can run a torque test on your specific application—just ask.
