Roughly 0.01mm tolerance on the mold means fit and finish are tighter than what you’ll get from most generic toy shell suppilers, and we’ve done mirror polish for a few clients who needed that showroom look—it’s not something every shop bothers with.
Basically, if you’re prototyping a custom car model or running a small batch of 50 units or so, 3D printing handles the detail work well, but for larger runs (a few hundred up to thousands) we switch to injection molding and the per-unit cost drops fast.
We’ve seen buyers use these for display models and functional toy shells, but they’re not suited for outdoor UV exposure long-term—the ABS will yellow eventually if left in direct sun, so that’s a thing to plan around.
Usually 4-6 weeks on a first order from design sign-off, but if you’ve got a CAD file ready and just need a quick 3D-printed batch, our company can ship in about 20 days or so (check lead time on that though, as it varies by current queue).
CE cert is, and we’ll send COA with teh shipment; some buyers also ask for the SDS, which we’ve got on file—just say the word and it’s included.
Anyway, most clients go with the OEM route, sending their own color specs, and we’ve handled everything form single-color shells to multi-part assemblies with snap-fit joints, but what it does is save you tooling headaches on the mold side.

Lead time depends on complexity and batch size. For a typical small batch with OEM branding, expect around 2-3 weeks. Larger injection molding runs take a bit longer but we'll give you a clear timeline upfront.

We customize packaging based on your needs — individual polybags, blister packs, or custom-branded boxes. For bulk orders, we use sturdy cartons with inner dividers to prevent scratches, especially on mirror-polished parts.
