So you're wiring up a control panel or some communication gear and you're dealing with that annoying issue of wires pulling loose under vibration or heat. We've been supplying these barrier terminal blocks for years and they handle the 600V rating without any drama, the Bakelite base is actually pretty good at managing thermal stress in tight enclosures.
The T8-0609 and T8-0812 series use brass conductors with a push-pull connection mechanism—it's a solid mechancial lock once you seat the wire, and for the welding termination side you just need a decent iron. Current ratings run from 15A all the way up to 100A depending on your model, though most buyers go with the 45A or 60A options for computer equipment wiring.
One thing we've noticed is the pole configurations (4P through 14P) give you flexibility without ordering custom parts, and the wire range covers 0.5 to 10mm² which handles most signal and power runs. These aren't great for high-frequency data lines though—they're more for power distribution and terminal connections where you need a stable 600V barrier that won't creep.
You can have neutral branding or your own logo on the housing, the injection molding process makes it easy to customize without a huge MOQ (usually 500 pieces or so). We'll send COA and HPLC data with each batch if you need it, but honestly the specs are consistent—operating temp from -30°C to 110°C, which covers most industrial and automotive environments.
Lead time is roughly 20 working days for standerd orders, and we usually have stock on the 4P and 6P variants in teh 15A range. Shipping from China via air or sea, and our company can handle the TDS and SDS paperwork if your compliance team needs it.
Both series share the specs you see here — same materials, voltage, and temperature range. The difference is mainly in the physical size and layout of the terminals to match your PCB or wiring setup. Check the model number for the exact dimensions if that matters.
We can provide a material certificate for the brass and Bakelite, plus a test report for the 600V rating and temperature resistance. If you need specific certifications like UL or CE, let us know — we can work that out for custom orders.
Yes, we offer neutral or custom branding. The MOQ for custom branding is typically 1000 pieces per model, but we can be flexible on smaller runs for the neutral option. Just tell us your quantity.
For 500 pieces of the 4P model, expect about 10-15 working days. We keep some stock on common pole options, so it can be faster if we have them ready. Custom branding adds a few days.
They come in bulk packs or anti-static bags depending on your request. Store them in a dry place below 40°C to keep the Bakelite base in good shape. For sensitive applications, we can add individual blister packaging at a small extra cost.
