Pulse width sits between 15ms and 50ms, so you can dial er bursts for smaller telangiectasias without purpura, but most buyers go with the 30ms range for spider veins on legs. It’s not ideal for deep reticular veins, though—teh 1470nm absorption depth is too shallow for that, you’d need a longer wavelength for the deeper stuff.
Rep rate from 1 to 30Hz means you can stack pulses fast on a single spot, but watch the thermal relaxation time—15Hz at full power on a pulse width of 20ms will heat the end of your fiber more than the tissue if you don’t cool it. Actually, the 650nm aiming beam is bright enough to see through most goggles, which is nice, and the fiber length options of 2m or 3m—roughly 6.6 and 9.8 feet—cover most reach scenarios.
We stock this unit with COA on the laser diode output (usually ±10% form stated power) and include a calibration certificate from the factory.
