We're responding to your RFQ for the bricklayer hammers, and we've been manufacturing these for years, so here's a direct rundown. heads are die-forged 45# carbon steel, hardened and tempered, with a polished striking face — actually handles better than most for consistent impact on masonry work.
It's basically a stoning hammer or bricklayer hammer, but there's also a claw hammer version if you need that, and we cover 100g up to 5000g for teh stoning type. The fiberglass core handle with PVC grip is what most buyers go with, because of that it's lighter than wood and doesn't splinter over time.
One thing that matters for reliability: the striking face is polished to reduce glancing blows, and the head finish is black matt lacquered or epoxy powder coated depending on your preference (usually 2-4 weeks for custom finishes). We follow internatioanl tool standerd for hardness.
What it's not suited for is heavy demolition work with a sledge — the fiberglass core is tough but has limits on repeated high-force impacts against concrete walls. For brick laying and stone trimming though, it's better than reagent-grade hammers that don't hold edge alignment.
Also, we usually have stock on the 800g and 1000g heads with fiberglass handles, roughly 50 units or so ready to ship, but confirm lead time for the 5000g size or colored epoxy coatings. Customization is avaliable for large quantiy orders — just let us know your lot size.
The MOQ for customization like a different handle color or your logo is typically 500 pieces. For smaller runs, we can offer standard options from stock without customization.
Yes, we can share a material certificate and hardness test report for the 45# carbon steel head. For the fiberglass core handle, we have a pull-out strength test record available on request.
For a 1000-piece order, lead time is around 25-30 days after deposit and confirmation of specs. Faster delivery is possible if we have the raw materials in stock.
Yes, the PVC grip is designed with a textured surface to provide good slip resistance even when wet or oily. It holds up well in typical construction conditions.
Standard export packing is 10 pieces per inner box, 5 inner boxes per master carton. For retail-ready packaging, we can customize the inner box with your design, but there's a small extra cost and higher MOQ.
