It's not a one-size-fits-all solution for every tension load—the closed pin design means it needs proper alignment during instalation, but that's what gives you the grip that prevents slippage under real-world wind and ice loads on towers.
What it does is secure OPGW or ADSS fiber cables at roughly 1.5 meter intervals, which is teh standard spacing most installers go with anyway, and the stainles steel body with rubber insert handles corrosion better than galvanized clamps in coastal environments.
The adjustable range is wide enough to accomdate different cable diameters, so you're not locked into a single size, and we've run them through HPLC-grade corrosion tests (check the COA for the exact ppm data). Usually ships in standard export cartons.
One thing most buyers don't think to ask: rubber compnent is what actually does the holding without crushing the fiber, so if you're working with armored cable, it's fine—but for super delicate indoor runs, it's overkill. We typically stock these, but confirm lead time for custom sizes (usually 2-4 weeks or so).
Anyway, the XB-150 model has that closed pin rather than an open hook, which basically means it won't pop loose during vibration testing—better than most utility-grade clamps for this reason.
