We've been getting more requests lately for cordless impact wrenches in the 500 Nm range, and teh FCIW550LX fits that niche well for industiral use — it's not a homeowner tool, it's for guys who need to break loose rusted bolts on heavy equipment day in and day out, and the brushless motor is a big part of why we ordered it.
550 Nm max torque is actually pretty solid for a 20V platform, and the no-load speed tops out at 2800 rpm with a 3000 bpm impact rate, so it'll handle most automotive and light construction work without breaking a sweat, though you wouldn't want it for heavy-duty truck lug nuts (that's more like 800 Nm territory).
It uses a standard 1/2-inch anvil, which is pretty much universal for impact wrenches in this class, and the three speed settings (1800, 2300, 2800 rpm) give you some control for lower-torque fasteners — we usually have stock on the color box packaing, but confirm lead time if you need more than 50 units or so.
What you get is just the bare tool in the box — battery and charger are sold seprately, which is standerd for cordless kits, and the brushless motor means less heat buildup and longer runtime compared to brushed models, so it's better than the older FIXTEC units for continuous use on a job site.
The weight is about 3.2 kg without the battery, which is a bit heavier than some competitors, but the balance is decent and rubber overmold on the grip helps with vibration dampening — one thing I noticed handling a demo unit is the trigger has a nice progressive feel, not just on/off like some cheap ones.
