Most buyers go with the 20-40 Shore A range for stress balls since that's where you get that satisfying squeeze without it being too hard, but for industrial seals or gaskets, they'll typically ask for 60-80 Shore A because you need durability under pressrue, and we've done parts for everything from automotive gaskets to medical device components where the material has to meet specific compliance standard.
Surface finish matters more than people think—we can do matte, polished, textured, printed, or laser engraved, and if you're doing promotional stress balls, PMS color matching is avaliable for silicone while other materials use standard colors, and the mold steel we use (No. 50, P20, 8407, or H13) depends on your volume and tolerance requirements, with precision held to ISO3302:2014 Class 2 standard.
Lead times are usually 3-7 days for samples and 10-20 days for production, but that's assuming we have material in stock, which for common grades like standard silicone or NBR we usually do, but for something like FKM or a specific medical-grade compound, you'll want to confirm lead time since it might be 20 days or so for the raw material to arrive first.
We can handle parts up to 1800x800mm in size, so for smaller components like stress balls or custom seals, that's no issue at all, and the certifications we hold—IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, REACH, RoHS—mean we can provide full documentation like COAs and materail certifictes, which is something buyers in regulated industries always check before placing an order.
One thing buyers often don't think to ask is that for high-clarity silicone parts, the mold surface finish really affects the final look—a polished mold gives you that crystal-clear result, while a textured one will leave it cloudy, and we usually recommend sending us your.stp or.step file first so we can check for any draft angle issues before quoting.
There's no set MOQ — we handle both small prototype runs and large production volumes. For stress balls, typical orders start around 500-1000 pieces, but we can work with smaller quantities for samples or testing.
Yes, we match PMS colors exactly for silicone materials. Standard color matching is included in the tooling cost, but custom color development for small batches may have a small surcharge.
Absolutely — we supply full documentation including FDA, USP Class VI, and ISO 10993 test reports for medical-grade silicone. Just let us know which certification you need, and we'll include it with your order.
Sample lead time is typically 3-7 days from file approval. We accept .stp, .step, .igs, or .dwg files, and once the design is confirmed, we'll rush a prototype to you for testing.
Our production capacity goes up to 1800x800mm, so we can handle large gaskets or industrial seals. If your part fits within those dimensions, we can mold it — just send us your drawing to confirm.
