We’ve been sourcing dental chairs for over a decade, and this KJ-918 unit—well, it’s basically our bread and butter for mid-tier clinics; the full casting alumnum frame is something you feel the moment you sit a patient down, much stiffer than those sheet-metal chassis. It doesn’t wobble during procedures, which matters more than most buyers realize, and the ultra-fiber leather is a nice touch — it stays cool under teh lamp and doesn’t crack after six months of constant use.
Most of our clients run general dental practices with two or three ops, usually doing routine fillings and cleanings, but we’ve seen a few oral surgery setups grab them too, mainly because the 24V DC noiseless motor lets you move the chair without that obnoxious whine spooking the patient. (check lead time if you need the 110V/60Hz version, we usually have stock, but that one can take 20 days or so). The built-in purified water system is a big deal for anyone doing crown preps — you don’t want tap water gunking up your handpieces.
It draws about 350VA, which is roughly what a small space heater pulls, so you’re fine on a standdard circuit, and the LED sensor lamp adjusts brightness automatically — pretty handy when you’re switching between upper and lower quadrants. 0.55-0.6MPa on the air side, with the water at 0.2 to 0.4, and honestly, if your clinic’s supply is below that you’ll need a booster; that’s just how it is. You get two high-speed handpiece connectors and one low-speed, plus the ceramic spittoon moves out of the way when you’re working on the left side of the chair.
An MOQ of 5 units is typical for us, though we’ve done singles for a test site now and then, and CE and ISO paperwork comes with every shipment — never had a customs hold on these. We don’t pretend this is for high-end implant suites with all the bells and whistles, but for a solid daily driver in a standard clinical practice, it’s a better value than most European brands at triple the price. Actually, one detail that surprised a repeat buyer: the automatic cup filler has a trickle setting that doesn’t splash water everywhere when you’re trying to fill a small rinse cup.
