It basically does what we need for surface prep on composites, metal, porcelain crowns, and fiber posts, and water spray keeps dust down pretty well — that cooling system actually works, not just a gimmick, and the 360-degree rotary head makes it easier to get into tight spots without repositioning teh patient.
Nozzle diameter is 0.48 mm, abrasive flow rate runs 1.5 to 3.5 g/min depending on how hard you push it, and it uses either aluminun oxide or sodium bicarbonate — most buyers go with the 120-micron oxide for roughening, the bicarbonate is better for gentle cleaning but not for heavy prep.

Also, the warranty is two years, which is decent for a metal-body unit at this price point, but don’t use it for anything beyond surface prep — it’s not suited for or cavity preparation, and the abrasive flow rate is too low for bulk removal anyway.
