At sample quantities you're looking at roughly €1.80 per piece, mid-volume drops to about €0.95, and bulk pricing (500+ units) gets down near €0.70 — it's basically half the cost of equivalent Weidmüller or Phoenix connectors for teh same UL94 V-0 rating. We keep a small buffer on raw stock so orders under 100 usually ship within a week, but larger ones may need 20 days or so (check lead time).
The spring interface is pretty much maintenance-free once you push the wire in — 24A continuous at 690V with that push-pull contact termination, and we've consistent measurements showing dielectric strength holding at 4000V AC even after thermal cycling from -40°C to +105°C. That 2.5mm pitch keeps the 18-pole version at 56.5×28.6×21.7mm, which fits most DIN rail arrangements without modification. The copper alloy contacts and PA housing are better than the non-reinforced nylon most cheap imports use — you'll see fewer brittle fractures during assembly.
0.2mm² rigid wire or 2.5mm² flexible — both seat firmly with that spring, though we find most buyers go with the 2.5mm² range for motor control cabinets. Also, the color coding (grey, blue, orange, or custom) isn't just aesthetic; it help track phase assignments in three-phase power distribution. What it does is save time on commissioning when you're labeling twenty-plus connections.
One limitation though: these aren't really suited for constant vibration environments like rail rolling stock without additional potting or locking compounds — the spring connection can work loose under 0.5g sustained G-forces. For stationary indutrial control panels they're fine, but check if your mounting orientation gets heavy shock loads.
Certifications are CE and RoHS, our company have COAs for each batch upon request — typically the HPLC and burn data come with the shipment if you ask upfront. The packaging is standerd export: each connector in its own polybag, then bulk-packed in corrugated cartons with internal dividers, about 50 units per box for the 18-pole version. We don't charge extra for custom colors but minimum order for those is 500 pieces.
We usually have stock on the grey and blue, about 2000 units or so in the warehouse at any time — orange and custom need production lead time, usually 2-4 weeks depending on the profile. The insulation resistnce consistently reads >1000MΩ after 24 hours at 85% humidity, which is tighter tolerance than most generic connectors claim.
For custom colors, we usually require a minimum of 1000 pieces per color. Standard grey, blue, and orange have no MOQ restrictions and can be ordered in any quantity.
Lead time is typically 10-15 working days for standard colors and standard packaging. Custom colors might add 5-7 more days for production.
Yes, we include CE and RoHS certificates with every order. Just request them when you place the order, and we'll send them along with the packing list.
It can handle 0.2mm² flexible wire, but we recommend using ferrules for a more secure connection. The spring terminal works best with the specified wire range, and for 0.2mm² flexible wire, a ferrule helps prevent strand breakage.
The connectors are rated for that temperature range, but the PA housing is not UV-stabilized, so prolonged direct sunlight could degrade it. They're better suited for indoor industrial environments like control cabinets or machinery enclosures.
