Solar Hybrid Inverter with Battery

It's basically a 51.2V DC nominal stack with LiFePO4 cells from EVE or CATL (we usually get BYD depending on stock), and the cycle life is rated at 6000+ cycles at 100% DOD, which for a daily cycling scenario gives you roughly 16 years of use before you hit the 80% capacty mark — and the warranty is 5 years standard but you can extend it to 10 (check lead time on that, it's not always in stock). The dimnesions are 483 by 393 by 871mm and it's floor mounted with rollers, so moving a 200kg unit into position is actually manageable with two people and a dolly.

LiFePO4 Battery Module

For the communication side, it talks RS485 and CAN natively, which is pretty much plug-and-play with Growatt and Deye inverters, but we found the Bluetooth app isn't great for real-time data logging — it's fine for a quick check but don't rely on it for granular trend analysis. Parallel connection goes up to 6 units for a max of 240KWh, so you could scale it for a larger commercial install, but weight gets up to 300kg or so for the 400AH version, and that's a limitation for tight spaces or upper floors without a freight elevator.

Also, it's not suited for off-grid cabins with no inverter compatibility — you'll need to verify your inverter's CAN protocol first, as some cheaper brands don't play nice with the BMS, and we've had a few returns from buyers who skipped that step.
