Basically we're swapping in the H401 series for the old couplers on the excavator fleet, working pressure is spec'd at 3000-5000 PSI depending on the size you order, and the standard seal material is fluororubber which handles the temp range of -20°C to +80°C without issue—we've had good results with that compound on hydraulic oil in the past.
The ball-locking mechanism is what I'd expect for this type, and it's fully compatble with Nitto HSPCUPLA so no adapter headaches for the guys in the field. 3 to 50 GPM flow rate covers most of our branch circuits, but if you're running high-flow attachment you'll want to confirm the specific size, I usually order the 1/2" or 3/4" for our loaders.
Surface treatment is zinc plated, which holds up okay in dry conditions but we noticed it can show wear faster in constant salt spray environments, so that's something to keep in mind if you're coastal or doing winter road work. 2000 hours or so of typical use before we see any seal degradation on fluororubber, but the poppet valves do prevent that uncoupled drip which saves on cleanup and fluid loss.
Lead time is about 15 days on the 10-piece MOQ, and we usually have stock on carbon steel versions in BSPP and NPT threads—stainlss is special order so figure another week or two there. The ISO 7241A and ISO 7241B certifications are standerd for this class, and we always get the COA with each batch because some of our rental customers request it.
You'll need to pick male or female end, the threaded connections come in BSPP, BSPT, NPT, NPTF, or G depending on what your hoses are, and the surface hardening on the critical components is applied pretty consistently—better than some generic imports we tried last year that wore out at half the cycles.
Warranty runs one year and the sealing is standard fluororubber, but if you're throwing high-presure water or something else through it just double-check the compound compatiblity before ordering.
