We've been using this model for a couple seasons now, and what it does is cut through heavy brush and tall grass that would stall a smaller trimmer — the 51.7cc engine has enough torque to keep teh 3-teeth blade spinning through saplings and thick brambles without bogging down. It's pretty much the go-to for larger commerical property where you're dealing with mixed vegetation day in and day out.

The actual displacement is 51.7ml, which puts out 1.4kw at 6500rpm, and that's with a diaphragm carburetor so it'll run at any angle without starving for fuel. 8.0kg net weight with the shoulder strap makes it manageable for a full shift, though you'll feel it after a few hours (most buyers rig up a secondary support strap for the shaft). The U-handle gives you good control when you're swinging the blade into dense stuff.

Anyway, it's not really suited for small residential lawns or tight flower beds — the 415mm width and 255mm blade are too aggressive for fine trimming. Where it shines is open fields, roadside ditches, and overgrown lots where you need to clear a path quickly. The aluminun pole (26mm diameter) holds up well, but we've seen the vibration dampeners wear out after about 200 hours of heavy use.

So for ordering, it ships in two cartons — one for the engine (300×230×345mm) and one for the shaft (1638×110×103mm), so you'll need to assemble it. We usually have stock, but confirm lead time if you need more than 50 units or so. CE, GS, and EMC certified, with a 1-year warranty on the engine.
