We're looking at a continuous-wave or pulsed 808nm diode laser, and what it does in practice is heat the follicle to the point of disabling it while the sapphire contact cools the epidermis to around -10°C. That tip temperature matters—it's what lets you run energy up near 180J/cm² without burning skin, especially on darker Fitzpatrick types up to VI. The 10x10mm spot is good for small areas, but most buyers end up keeping the 15x27mm on the handpiece for the body.
At 2600W with 1-10Hz repetition rate, you'll get a clean pulse form 5ms up to 400ms, and the 650ms option is there if you need it for coarse hair—it's basically dead time for the heat to sink. We've done over 200 shots on demo units without the tip temperature rising above 2°C, so TEC cooling is actually holding its spec. The touch screen interface is 8.4 inches and shipped in English, but you can switch to German or Russian without reloading firmware.
It's built for the clinic floor—roughly 35kg, so it's not moving around between rooms unless you have a cart. 110V or 220V, just make sure your breaker is 15A minimum because the standby draws about 800W by itself. The laser modules are guaranteed for 20 million shots, and we usually see them last closer to 24 million before output drops 10% or so.
CE and TUV certs are stamped on the chassis, and we include a COA for every laser bar stack—HPLC for the cooling fluid purity is avaliable on request. What it isn't suited for is tattoo removal or anything outside 755nm, 808nm, or 1064nm, so don't try repurposing the handpiece.
You'll need to specify which spot sizes you want—the 10×10mm is standerd, but the 10×20mm and 15×27mm are drop-in heads. Lead time is about 20 days from order, though the warranty period starts on shipment, not receipt, if that matters for your accounting.
Shipping weight hits about 45kg crated, and the SAP number includes the handpiece cables—there's no separate cabling to order except a replacement or spare. Just send us the approved PO with the power voltage and preferred language, and we'll allocate from current production.
The 808nm/810nm is standard on this unit. The 755nm and 1064nm wavelengths are optional add-ons, so you'll need to specify if you want them when ordering.
