Cracking thick plate with a setup that can't hold steady gas flow is frustrating and wastes time — especially when you're in the middle of a production run and the flame keeps pulsing. This one uses a balanced pressure system, basically keeps the mix even regardless of cylinder fluctuations, so you don't have to keep tweaking the valves. The double O-ring seals help too — leaks are a problem we hear about a lot, and it's usually cheap fittings that cause it.

We've had these in the shop for years and the die-forged brass head with stainlss steel tubes holds up better than the cast alternatives, which tend to crack after heavy use. For a 0-12mm range on single flame work, it's a solid choice — welders pushing past that thickness will want something different, but for most industiral fabrication it's pretty much the standard. The single flame gives you cleaner control on thinner sections than a multi-flame head would.

Model number's WT-0106, overall length about 500mm, and the hose connection is 9/16"-18 — so check your regulator fittings before ordering. It runs LPG, propane, or acetylene (acetylene usually gives the hottest flame if you need it), and tip type is L/W. The GS, CE, and ISO9001 certs are on file — we usually have stock, roughly 50 units or so, with a lead time of maybe 20 days if we're out.

What it does is let you switch between fuel gases without changing torches, which saves time if you're moving between jobs. One thing you'll notice handling it — the brass head has a better grip texture than the polished ones, so it's less likely to slip with welding gloves. It's not designed for TIG work or brazing (you'd want a different tip setup for that), but for straight oxy-fuel and welding in the 0-12mm range, it's a workhorse.

Also, the operating pressure is balanced, so you get consistent flame characteristics at different tank pressures — something buyers often forget to check. The 9/16"-18 connection is tighter than most consumer-grade torches, you'll need adapters for standerd hobbyist hoses in most cases. Packages usually come with one tip included, but we recommend ordering extra L/W tips seperately since they wear out (typically after 200 hours or so of heavy use).
