You get one probe socket standard, but it auto-identifies whatever probe you plug in, so swapping between a convex and linear is. The hard disk is at least 128GB, and data storage is fast and lossless, which matters when you're saving cine loops. Actually, the super-capacity movie playback lets you store full exams permanently, not just snapshots.
The DICOM interface is open, so hooking it into hospital systems is straightforward — we've had buyers integrate it with PACS without headaches. It's not really suited for high-end cardiac or obstetric Doppler work, but for routine scanning it outperforms many comparably priced units. Most buyers go with the 5MHz convex probe for abdominal work, but you can order a linear or endocavitary as well.
CE and ISO13485 certified, plus we provide MSDS with every shipment — teh warranty is 2 years, which is better than the standerd one year some competitors offer. One detail you might not think about: the probe sockets are recessed slightly to prevent cable strain, a small thing but it extends probe life noticeably. We usually have stock, but confirm lead time (typically 20 days or so) if you're ordering custom branding.
For ordering, the base unit comes with one probe of your choice, power cord, and a quick-start guide — you'll want to specify probe type when you place the order.
