We've been running these through our QC for a while now, and the L745 handles the typical obstetrics and gynecology workloads pretty well—it's basically a workhorse for those application, though urology is also strong fit given the 2-14 MHz range, which gives you solid penetration for deeper pelvic scans without sacrificing too much near-field resolution.

The linear array packs 80 to 256 elements depending on the configuration you order, and what that does is let you dial in the image quality for different depths; most buyers go with the 128-element version for best balance, but we usually have stock on the 256 if you need higher element counts for finer tissue differentiation.

It's compatiible with the Sonoscape A6 system only, so check your console before ordering—we've had a few customers assume it works across the board, but the connector pinout is specific to that model, and the metal and plastic housing is durable enough for daily clinical use, though the plastic casing can show wear after a year or so if you're rough with it.

One thing you might not think to ask: the cable is about 1.8 meters long, which is fine for most exam rooms but can be tight if your system is wall-mounted far from teh patient bed, and we don't offer custom cable lengths on this model (usually 2-4 weeks lead time for customiaztion otherwise). The CE cert covers the typical clinical standdard, but we don't have FDA clearance, so it's not suited for US clinical markets without separate approval.

Anyway, we ship with a COA and the standard 1-year manufacturing defects, not wear form daily use, and the HPLC purity tests we run on the coupling gel are separate from the probe itself—just something to keep in mind if you're ordering bulk.
