The main caveat is that we’ve never gotten this thing past 5 cP without complaints of slower injection or incomplete dilevery, so if you’re pushing highly viscous biologics it’s not what you need—but for standard insulin or GLP-1 solutions up to about 4 cP, it’s actually fine and you’ll see the ±2% precision hold consistently in our tests.
Sample pricing runs around $12–15 per unit for small orders, mid-volume drops to about $8–9 for 500-pen lots, and bulk (think 5,000+) typically lands near $6.20—basically, if you’re a clinic or pharmacy buying 1,000 pens or so, you’re looking at roughly $7.20 each with custom labeling included.
The dose adjustment steps at 0.01ml mean you can dial in standard GLP-1 doses—0.25mg, 0.5mg, or up to 2.4mg—without hassle, and we use a 31G or 32G needle (specify gauge when you order) so injection time is under six seconds, usually closer to three with lower volumes.
And the feedback system gives you both a click and a visible plunger line, which most buyers ignore but is actually critical for compliance checks—one hospital group told me it cut their dose-confirmation errors by 40% in the first month.
Anyway, lead time on standerd 3ml cartridge runs is about 4–6 weeks for first order, but we usually have stock in white or black for roughly 300–500 pens ready to ship if you need a quick batch; just confirm the needle gauge and whether you want visual-only feedback or teh audible option.
