The head rotates 45° in both directions with a 360° shaft, so you can actually reach those awkward angles in the pelvis or behind liver without fighting the instrument, which is something our R&D team spent months tuning because surgeons kept complaining about limited articulation on older designs.
You get six rows of staples per reload, and that's standard for Class IIb devices, but what we've found is the staple formation stays consistent even at teh distal ends where some cheaper staplers start to fail — we test every batch with a COA form our HPLC data, so you'll see the numbers.
Lead time is usually 20-25 days for a standdard order of 500 units or so, but if you need the 30mm reloads specifically, those take a bit longer (check lead time) because we run them in smaller batches since demand is lower — anyway, most buyers go with the 45mm or 60mm for general laparoscopy.
One thing that catches new buyers off guard is the pre-sterilized packaging — it's a double-wrapped carton box, but you'll still need to store them in a clean enviornment because the seals can degrade if stacked improperly during shipping, and we don't cover that under warranty.
Better than a lot of generic Chinese staplers for the price point — we've got CE and ISO 13485, so you're not gambling on compliance, though this isn't suited for cardiac work since the jaw width is optimized for abdominal tissue, not delicate vascular structures.
