No—only surface clean is recommended. The cotton body and hand-rooted mohair can be damaged if soaked, so just wipe the vinyl silicone head and limbs with a damp cloth.
The hair is hand-rooted premium mohair, not glued. It's pretty durable for gentle play, but avoid pulling hard or brushing aggressively to keep it intact.
CE certification means the doll meets EU safety standards for toy materials, lead content, and small parts—especially relevant since it's recommended for ages 3+. It's tested for non-toxic vinyl silicone and acrylic eyes.
The doll has a lightweight cotton body, so it's much lighter than a real baby of that size. The vinyl silicone head and limbs add some weight, but the soft body keeps it easy to hold and pose.
