I’ve been buying tying tools for our vineyard crew for years, and this one finally got rid of the constant jamming issues we had with cheaper models—the semi-automatic buckle mechanism is a real time-saver, and the 11mm plastic tape feeds through without snagging most of the time.
Basically, it balances manual control with just enough automation to keep the work consistent, and the steel-and-plastic build feels solid for daily field use (we usually have stock, but confirm lead time if you’re ordering over 50 units). The RoHS certifcation was a checkbox we needed, nothing more.
You’ll want to check the tape width carefully before ordering—it only works with 11mm tape, so don’t grab the standerd 12mm rolls by accident. Most buyers in our patch go with yellow for visibility, but green hides dirt better.
So MOQ is flexible—we’ve ordered as few as 20 pieces for a trial run, though the per-unit price drops noticeably around 200 or so. One thing that surprised me: the buckle alignment can be off on about 1 in every 30 units straight out of the box, but it’s a 30-second fix with a pair of pliers.
Anyway, customiztion on the label and packging was straightforward—they printed our farm’s logo on the box without any fuss, lead time was roughly 4 weeks. Not a recommendation for heavy-duty trellising work, but for tying vines and training stems it’s better than most manual tape guns I’ve handled. The plastic housing absorbs bumps better than I expected.
We can start with as low as 50 units for standard colors. Custom colors or packaging may require a bit higher MOQ, but we’ll work with you on that.
