You're setting up a long-term cell culture study with metabolic flux analysis as your endpoint, and the last thing you need is a NAD batch that degrades before you get your timepoints — we've been there, so this one's stored at -20°C and sealed tight against moisture.
It's a white to off-white crystalline powder, and the HPLC purity runs ≥99.0% with β-NAD content falling between 97.0% and 103.0% on a dry basis; residual ethanol sits at ≤2.0% by GC, heavy metals are under 0.5 ppm for lead and arsenic both, and teh pH of a 100mg/mL solution comes in between 2.0 and 4.0.
3, we use this for electron carrier work in oxidation-reduction enzyme assays mostly, but it's not for anything involving live animals or human subjects — that's a hard line, and COA will show it's negative for E. coli, Salmonella, and S. aureus with a total aerobic count under 750 cfu/g.
Minimum order is 1 gram, but we usually have stock on hand so lead time is about 10 days or so (check for larger quantities).
