The main caveat is that 60 minutes of continuous operation isn't endless, so for all-day prison perimeter work you'll definately want a spare battery or a vehicle charger handy, though most airport security guys we've dealt with run it bursts anyway and rarely drain a full charge in one shift.
What it does is hit the three bands that actually matter for consumer drones—GPS L1, 2.4G, and 5.8G—with four independent RF modules that let you pick which frequency to jam, so you're not wasting power or causing interference where you don't need it, and the 6dBi directional panel gives you that 500-800 meter range pretty consistently in open air.
Teh whole unit weighs 2.8kg (about 6.2 pounds) and measures 660×290×50mm, which is basically the size of a small briefcase, and the internal 24V battery runs at 70W total output, though we usually have stock but confirm lead time because the 5.8G modules sometimes take 20 days or so to restock.
It's not great for indoor use or dense urban environments where buildings block the line of sight—basically the range drops to maybe 200-300 meters if there's concrete between you and the drone—but for prisons or airport perimeters where you've got clear sight lines, most buyers go with this over the bigger vehicle-mounted units.
The jamming range is 500 to 800 meters, but that depends on line-of-sight and signal strength of the drone you're targeting. In open areas with clear views, you'll get closer to the full 800 meters; in built-up environments with obstacles, it drops toward the lower end.
The battery is internal and not designed for hot-swapping. You'd need to recharge or use a backup unit for longer shifts. The 60-minute continuous runtime is enough for most patrols or checkpoint operations.
It only blocks GPS L1, not L2 or other GNSS bands like GLONASS or BeiDou. If a drone relies on L2 or multiple constellations, it may not be fully disrupted. For prisons and airports, most consumer drones still use L1, so it's effective for typical threats.
The device is ISO9001 certified, and we provide the certificate along with test reports for output power and frequency accuracy. We can also supply a warranty letter and CE marking if needed for your tender.
It ships in a foam-lined hard case, total packed weight 5kg, dimensions roughly 660×290×50mm. For storage, keep it between -20°C and +55°C, same as operating range—just avoid extreme humidity or direct sun for long periods.
