Basically works by mimicking that GLP-1 hormone to kick off insulin release and suppress glucagon, but only when blood sugar is actually high — it’s glucose-dependent so you don’t get false flags in normoglycemic models, which is pretty critical for metabolic studies.
We’re looking at ≥99.9% purity confirmed by HPLC and a molecular weight of 4113.6 g/mol (C187H291N45O59 if you want the full formula), CAS 910463-68-2, and it come as an off-white powder that needs to stay at 2-8°C in the dark — don’t leave it on the bench overnight or you’ll degrade it.
This is pharmaceutical-grade with GMP documentation and a full COA plus MSDS, so it’s better than reagent-grade for in vivo work where batch consistency matters, but it’s strictly labeled for research use only — we don’t use it for human trials or anything clinical obviously.
Most buyers we deal with go with teh 10mg vial for small-scale screening, but you can get customiezd packging if you need bulk — bottles or vials, your choice — and the MOQ is usually 5 vials or so, though our company can flex that if you’re just starting a pilot.
One thing that caught me: the powder is hygroscopic, so once you open the vial you’ll want to use it within 20 days or so and keep the cap sealed tight, otherwise it clumps up and your TDS will show lower purity than the spec.
Also, shiping works out to about 6-8 business days for domestic, but we usually have stock ready — just confirm lead time if you need it faster, because customs can sometimes hold it for a couple days when it’s labeled as research compound.
