We usually see researchers ordering 10 kits at a time, roughly 100 vials, and that's the sweet spot for our MOQ — but our company can do smaller batches if you're just starting out, though lead time might shift by a week or so.
The 5mg per vial works well for metabolic studies, basically mimicking that GLP-1 hormone to stimulate insulin release, and most buyers go with the 10mg if they need a higher dose for obesity mechanism work, but for appetite regulation experiments the 5mg is actually easier to titrate.
It's stored at 2-8°C, protect form light, and we ship with ice packs and a tempearture logger — one thing to watch is that reconstitution buffer matters more than people think, a bad buffer can drop the activity by 20% even if the HPLC shows 99%+ purity.
The CAS is 910463-68-2, molecular weight sits at 4113.58 g/mol, and teh form is pretty much standdard for research grade — but this isn't suited for anything in vivo unless your protocol specifically allows it, and we don't recommend it for chronic dosing studies without proper ADME data.
Also, the 10 vials per kit packaing is decent for storage, but if you're running a large screen you'll want to order in bulk and aliquot yourself — we've had clients who skip that step and then complain about consistency, and it's usually because they left vial out at room temp too long.
