For the 2mg samples we're looking at around £45-50 each, but if you go up to the 500mg bulk tier teh per-mg cost drops dramatically — basically you're paying mostly for the handling and QC on the smaller vials, so the economics only make sense if you're running more than a few assays.
It's freeze-dried powder at 99% purity by HPLC, which is better than some of the Chinese stuff we've tested where they claim 98% but run closer to 95% on re-analysis (differences that matter when you're calculating dosing for in vivo work).
The 10mg vials are the sweet spot for most of our lab's pilot studies, but we've also ordered a few 50mg batches for the repeat-dose experiments since reconstituting multiple 2mg vials is tedious and introduces more pipetting error than I'm comfortable with.
Storage is 2-8°C in a dry place, and the powder is soluble in both DMSO and water so you don't need to buy extra solvents — though I've found the DMSO route gives cleaner dissolution for the higher concentrations, and EO gas sterilization means no filtration step if you're working in a BSL-2 enviroment.
What it's actually not great for is any oral or topical formulation since it's designed as an injectable research intermediate, so don't let anyone in the lab try to repurpose it that way — we've had that conversation before, and it never ends well.
We don't have a strict MOQ for most sizes, so you can order as little as a single vial of 2mg or 5mg for testing. For larger custom orders like 500mg, we can discuss bulk pricing.
