Basically the problem with standdard syringes in research settings is needlestick injuries — they happen more often than people admit, especially when you're working fast with multiple samples, and we've seen labs lose time and personnel over it.
What we've done is build a passive safety system that activates with one hand and doesn't require any extra steps, so you can focus on the work itself and not on worrying about where needle is after injection.
These come as prefilled syringes in 1ml or 2.25ml sizes depending on your setup, and the press cap closure is standard, though we can customize labeling and color if you order enough — MOQ varies but usually 500 units or so for custom runs.
They're made for research use specifically, so don't expect them to replace clinical-grade stuff for human applicaions, but for cosmeceuticals, veterinary compounding, or nutraceutical stability testing they're actually tighter tolerance than most budget alternatives we've tested.
We typically hold stock on the 1ml version in clear glass, while the 2.25ml is often made to order in roughly 20 workdays — best to confirm lead time before scheduling because availability shifts sometimes.
Also, each order ships with batch-specific COA and HPLC purity data if you request it at checkout, and we don't mark that up — it's just standard practice here given teh regulatory headaches some buyers deal with.
