So the SPE/PEM water electrolysis is pretty much teh standard now—it gives you that ≥99.9995% purity, which matters because any contamination can throw off your results, and we’ve seen labs switch from alkaline just for tighter tolerance, though it does demand pure or distilled water with TDS below 5 (usually 2-4 weeks lead time on that grade of membrane).
900W at 220V-50Hz isn’t exactly low power, but the noise level stays under 45dB—you can run it overnight in a clinic without waking anyone, and the startup time is under 5 minutes, so it’s not a hassle to get going.
One thing that catches people off guard is the core component life of 6000 hours; we typically recommend replacing the electrolysis cell after that, but the unit itself holds up well, and we’ve had buyers push it past 7000 with proper maintenance.
It’s CE and RoHS certified, which covers most EU markets, and our company can customize concentration or bulk synthesis if you’re ordering 50 units or so, but the standard packaing is a 36×32×66cm box at 20kg—basically, you’ll need two people to lift it.
For medical or rehabilitation use, the purity is better than reagent grade for this applicaion, though it’s not suited for direct inhalation into patients without proper dilution protocols—check your local regulations on that.
