What it doesn't do is float well in heavy surf or handle extreme temperture drops — we've had some reports of brittleness below freezing, so keep that in mind for winter training. But for standard outdoor play and basic retrieval work, it's a solid choice that tends to outlast the cheaper alternatives on the market.
