So you've got a custmer who needs to bag frozen shrimp or sticky marinated chicken strips, and the stuff just clumps together on every other machine you've tried — this is where the JW-A12 actually earns its keep, handling those paste and viscous materials that normally jam up a standard weigher.

We sourced it through a suppiler who'd been running these for a while, and what it does is drop the product onto a belt-type open weighing tray instead of the usual bucket design, which basically solves the feeding problem for sticky or bulky items like noodles or meat products without you having to stop and clear a jam every ten minutes.

The weighing range runs form 10 grams up to 6 kilos, with an accuracy of X(0.5) — that's tighter tolerance than most multiheads in this price bracket — and the JW-A12 model hits about 30 packs per minute, though the A14 is a bit slower at 25 or so if you need the extra head count.

Control panel is a 10.1-inch touch screen, pretty straightforward to navigate, and the whole thing is IP65 rated so you can hose it down after a fish shift without worrying about electronics.

It's a semi-automatic system driven by step motors, drawing 800 watts at 220 volts, and the gross weight on the A12 comes in at 370kg — you'll want a pallet jack or a couple of strong hands for unloading, because of that it's not a one-person lift.

Also, we usually have stock on the A12, but the A14 can take 4-6 weeks lead time (check before you order), and one thing nobody mentions is the forming function is really only for bag packging — don't try to use it for rigid containers or you'll be fighting the feed.
