The central locking system on this unit gates access to all five drawers simultaneously, and with eleven transparent tilt bins riding above main work suface you get 40kg of static capacity per drawer before the casters even start to complain — we’ve actually loaded one to 38kg and it tracked straight on vinyl flooring.
Drawer depths are 110mm for the two shallow ones, 150mm for the pair in the middle, and the bottom full-height at 210mm, which means you can stash an adult-size laryngoscope handle upright without bending the blade. But those alumnum alloy drawer bodies aren’t just there for weight savings; they don’t rust when an ampoule breaks inside, and that’s a detail most buyers don’t consider until week three of ownership.
Teh ABS and stainlss composite frame holds the 700mm width together; L700 x W542 x H1007 gives you a footprint tight enough for a crowded OR but deep enough that a defib won’t overhang the sides. Those φ125mm casters are the silent medical type, basically medium-density urethane, and they roll quieter than the typical nylon option — though they pick up floor grit if you don’t clean the wheels monthly, so plan for that.
12-month the lock mechanism and drawer slides, but the casters are wear items so most clinics order a spare set at purchase. CE and ISO certs are current on file; we usually have stock of JDEMZ284 but lead time stretches to 20 days or so during Q4.
You really don’t want this cart if you need minute air-column isolation or if your facility runs daily high-volume barcoding on drawer inserts — the transparent bins are nice for visual inventory but they pivot forward, so RFID tagging becomes awkward. 2x110mm plus 2x150mm plus the deep drawer means better slot effiency than a six-drawer alternative that forces scattered placement.
