It's better than a generic hardware-store washer for application where you need to spread a fastener load evenly — think any assembly where the bolt head would otherwise dig into a softer material — but it's not suited for high-heat aerospace stuff without checking the specific alloy first, since the standdard steel options will just deform on you.
Every order over that thousand-piece minimum comes with an ISO 9001 cert on request, and our company can ship out 500,000 pieces in a month give or take, which is useful if you're running a production line and you don't want a supplier that drags their feet — we usually have stock for plain steel in sizes from 1/4 to 2 inches, anyway.
One detail that gets overlooked is the actual thickness tolerance — and I mean the 0.002 inch minimum is possible but you'll pay for the tighter tolerance, (check the spec sheet for your standard) because most buyers go with something around 0.05 inches for general purpose use, and that's a lot easier to source.
Also, if you're ordering lock washers or beveled ones for those NFE standard, make sure to tell us the appliction early since the tooling setup changes between DIN125 flat and a wave washer profile — we've had buyers try to swap at the last minute and it's just a delay.

Our minimum thickness is 0.002 inches, so we can't go down to 0.001. If you need something close, 0.002 is as thin as we can reliably produce.
We can pack them in bulk boxes, poly bags, or heat-sealed bundles depending on your needs. For export orders, we usually use cartons with palletizing to prevent damage during shipping.
